Is it so surprising the fact that we have already learned so many stuff before we get born? To me, not at all! The Ted speaker raises the question as if people do not know or have not heard about it much:
http://www.ted.com/talks/annie_murphy_paul_what_we_learn_before_we_re_born.html. Perhaps the fact that I am a neuroscientist made the answer so obvious to me. Anyway, what do we learn during nine months in the womb?
1. The sound of our mothers' voice
2. The sentences we heard in the womb
3. Picking the mother's native language (crying in the accent of the mother tongue)
4. Tastes and smells
